Purchased this inverter to power an inexpensive (and discontinued) portable DVD player over AC since the lighter adapter was broken. Powers everything perfectly. The only issue with the product is that if the inverter is plugged in to the lighter jack and switched off when the car ignition is turned off, the radio will stay on, even with the keys removed from the ignition. Very strange. Happens in all of our cars. If the inverter power is on and it's plugged in, everything turns off as expected when the ignition is turned off. Simple solution is to unplug the inverter every time the car is turned off (probably a good idea anyhow).

It seems that laptops really drain a lot of energy, and its not a good idea to use them for a long period of time when the engine is off. As for cellphones and GPS's, everything is fine.

This power inverter is great for air travel and even if you are travelling on the road. It comes with a neat acrry case, is light weight, great to throw in your travel case or computer bag. The inverter has a fan which helps keep the device cool especially useful if you're using it to power your laptop!

Clearly there is at least some continuous duty capacity over the 50W I tested it at. It may very well be that it won't produce the claimed 120W continuously, but it meets my 50W needs and it is tiny. I'm happy, and will stay happy as long as this thing doesn't carp out.
