It had two great bonus features, a cigarette lighter adapter so it can be used in your car (thought its only use was for the airplane) and a nifty compact carry bag for all the parts. <br/> <br/>I'll admit that I have only used it once but so far I give it five stars. It really lived up to its billing.

It worked great. I couldn't believe something so small could be so powerful. Our DVD player's battery died and the kids were watching their movie again in no time. The unit was easy to set up and the blue "on" indicator light is definitely a plus. The unit was running for at least 3 hours and it worked great. It was not noisy and although it did get warm it was never excessively hot. Certainly not any hotter than my laptop after it is running for 2 hours.

Powered laptop, camera battery and iphone on a southwest trip. worked great! <br/>gets a bit hot though, definitely want to have airflow around this product.

It does get hot but that is the nature of adapters. My Apple's power cord got just as hot. I do recommend not using 100% of the time just to give it a break or put it under the floor a/c vents to cool it down for heavy use. With that said, I only cooled it with A/C once and the rest of the time, used it with no additional cooling. It worked like a champ. did a bang up job.

This small power inverter does the trick. I bought for a working vacation that lasted 2 weeks. If we were on the road, I had one of my mobile devices plugged in and charging. It's just the right size. I easily fit in two a/c plugs plus a USB charger for my iphone/ipod touch. I mainly used it to power my Apple Mac Book Air and to recharge my verizon wireless mobile MIFI card.
