This is an excellent product and was very easy to install. I have it and works well. It's great security to know who is at your front door before you open it.

I got my defender in the mail today. Already tested it out, it's really cool. I have no real comparisons to make with other doorbell home intercom systems. But what I can say about this is that it definitely works for what it was intended. Good choice to replace your old doorbell.
