This camera is a small, unobtrusive unit that provides good clarity out to 60 feet (day) and about 40 feet (IR). It will provide sufficient detail for recognition of facial features but appears not to have the detail for reading a license plate at 40 feet. It is a good value for the price.

Great camera! Mounting bracket allows angle adjustment. Easily connected to a Q-See system. Does not include connection cable so make sure you have that. The mounting bracket could be sturdier but so far adequate.

When I recieved the cameras I was concerned about the small size, I bought these cameras as a replacement for a set of cameras that came with a security system my wife got for christmas. After installation of the new cameras, I was very pleased with the picture sharpness and the color.

This camera does have a wider view (but not that wide) in that I can fit in my whole front gate from the side, from about 10 feet high and 20 feet away. I notice at the end of the day when the sun is going down and it adjusts to the change in light it flashes slightly but not so much that you lose the picture. The night vision is great. So if I needed another I would buy this again.

I did extensive research before buying this camera. This one has excellent reviews, and is of good price. So I decided to give it a try. It is exactly as described. Image is sharp and real time. The night vision is bright and clear. As other reviews said, this camera is really small. I did a ceiling installation and have had no problems for about 2 weeks now. Kit comes with a power supply. Only downside is that the instructions are weak. With the ceiling installation I used the included screws and have not had any issues. They offer a variety of options for the price and you won't be disappointed.

Camera was delivered quickly and seems to function as advertised. The lens is 3.6 mm which is a wider view (about 90 degrees) than most similar camera offerings which have a 6.0mm lens which is a narrower view. <br/> <br/>Both day color pictures and night IF black and white pictures are acceptable for a video security system. Great camera for the $39.99 price but is priced about right for the product offered.
