A door closer is used to close a door automatically each time it is opened. This piece of Door Closer Adjustment contains a hydraulic-based mechanism. Automatic Door Closer can be adjusted to make the door close more slowly or quickly and can also be used to hold the door fully open for a moment before beginning the closing process. They can take the place of a door stop to prevent damage to walls and can also be adjusted to make a door latch more firmly and securely. The door closer is a great alternative for use on interior and light weight exterior door applications. The door closer compact design has the features and appearance of a full size closer but requires less space on a door for installation, and provides complete functionality for any opening. So what are you still waiting for?
Other Thoughts:We recently renovated our kitchen. Recently, I heard about these door-dampers and decided to give them a try. They are awesome. Don't know why the cabinet manufacturers don't make them standard - like drawer soft close mechanisms.
Other Thoughts:I put these closers on my medium priced cabinets and now the doors close just like the high priced ones. When I purchased the cabinets, I was offered slow close doors for $12 more each door. The Kwik fix dampers are an incredible investment.
Other Thoughts:This storm door closer works! For less than what I have seen at local Lowes and Home Depot, I can press a button on the arm, and the door will stay open wherever I want it to. Even better, after the last load of groceries, plants, or whatever, I can literally "bump" the door with my elbow or hip, and it closes. It is as quick, and it is quieter than the last two mounted on the door. They are also available in black and unpainted models thru various sites on the web.
