Other Thoughts:I bought this item a while back and wanted to wait to review it because I saw some reviews talk about how it went out or stopped working. So far, so good. It is a little bulky, but not as much as some of the other 400W inverters out there. Does great with all the applications I have needed.
Other Thoughts:Fantastic inverter. Very heavy duty, and dual plugs is a huge plus. Perfect replacement for my old 10-year old inverter which recently broke.
Other Thoughts:This is my 3rd inverter and so far works the best. You can't hear it much when the fan is on. It also turns off when not using too much energy. My previous 200W inverter was weaker and much louder than this one.
Other Thoughts:It does what it should do. I charged my laptop on my car. The temperature is cool because the rating of this power supply is 400w and my laptop is less than 100W. But I can not listen audio from my laptop while charging. The switching noise is pretty strong. You can hear the coupled noise from the power supply in the car speakers, and you can not just bear with it. So I had to switch of my laptop while charging, and listen the audio only with the battery on the laptop.
Other Thoughts:I bought this item a few months ago and I love it. Provides enough power to run my laptop and GPS at the same time (I have my GPS hooked up to the USB port and laptop hooked up to the AC port). I Have had no problem with it whatsoever. I would highly recommend it.
