Large Dial Makes it Easy to Read the Temp - This thermometer is great in that I can read the dial from where I placed it towards the back of the refrigerator. We also bought one for the freezer. They both work well and were a good buy, but the main thing to us was that we can see the temp without having to put on our "over-40 eye glasses" And that's what it is all about - being able to read the temp so you can adjust accordingly.

Now i dont have any other thermometer to compare this one to, to judge its accuracy, but it seems to be working great! before i had this thermometer i would routinely get ice in my milk with the fridge on its standard setting, so it turned the temperature up, well it turns out i had turned it up too far! my fridge was dangerously warm! now with this thermometer ive got both freezers runnin at 0 degrees and my fridge at around 38 degrees, oh and i give it a few hours sittin in my fridge or freezer before i know its reading the actual temperature, this thing is not instant read!

I bought 2 of these and first placed the two together in the freezer and then together in the refrigerator to check them against each other, and they worked fine. By moving them around you can learn which places in your appliance are colder. (No more milk in the door!) They work perfectly as advertised and the price was right.

Groceries in our fridge were not keeping as long as I thought it should. I decided to get a thermometer to see exactly how cold the fridge was. Turned out no matter how cold we tried to make the fridge, it didn't hit the safety mark on this meter. Called for repair, and turned out our fridge needed servicing.

i have always used the Taylor brand thermometer. It's reliable and accurate. I purchased 4, because I have 2 refrigerators. One for the refrigerator and one for the freezer for both. I trust the Taylor brand and highly recommend their products.

This product works great on day to day cooking and grilling. Now our steaks are done to medium rare every time and the chicken is no longer dried out (I kind of miss that part).
