I bought the camera for one reason: to keep an eye on my place while I'm at work. We were notified of a slight increase in criminal activity in the area, and I have a lot of expensive things at my place. I have insurance, but wanted to have something else keeping an eye on things while I was at work. This camera seemed to offer everything I was looking for. And yes, it does have a lot of cool features. You can connect it wirelessly, so all it needs is power. I have never found any video camera with such a great picture and for a fraction of what I have paid for far less capable cameras. Test every feature you need within the return time frame. But whatever your needs, I doubt you find a better camera anytime soon.

Great picture night and day. If you want to get a picture of the bad guys that will stand up in court this is the one to buy. I've tried the lower resolution cameras and you can't get a good picture of their face. LEDS provide a wide area of lighting that matches the lens field of view - this is well designed as some cameras I used have a problem witht the LEDS overshooting the field of view of the camera.

This product works just like it is advertised. Easy to install. Easy to operate. Easy to understand the instructions. Works good in the dark as well as in the light. Would deffinately recomment this to friends.

Having read some of the favorable reviews on this camera, I decided to give it a try. I ordered three to start. After setting up the first two cameras I was totally amazed at the resolution and clarity of the cameras! Night view is great as well. I have since ordered a 4th! I would also like to point out that we've had some pretty heavy rainfall that the cameras were exposed to. They are every bit as weather proof as advertised. A must buy!
