- Other Thoughts: This remote outlet works great. I use it to turn my heater in the bird bath on and off. When the temp gets low enough to freeze I turn it on and when it warms up to where I don't need it I can shut it off. This saves energy. Great item.

- Other Thoughts: Their quality is good and their customer service is superior. I have several of these units and they all work great except one that was DOA. I called the company and they wanted to know what happened and offered to send a replacement at their expense.

- Other Thoughts: I use this to turn off outdoor ice melt cables. Bought it because it looked like it could handle the higher amperage. Haven't been disappointed. Seems to work well at switching on/off a 120ft ice melt cable.

- Other Thoughts: I just received my remote, seems like it could take a lot of outside abuse. I can't comment on the remote distance because I am using in my room to control the lamp to help when I wake up and it is dark, but so far it works like a charm.

- Other Thoughts: Bought this to remotely turn on my shop vac which I use for dust collection in my shop. This one was cheaper than the ones advertised for that purpose. It seems to work well
