This thing is super lightweight and teeny tiny... but this camera takes awesome audio - and the video is certainly acceptable for it's size. This is a great camera if you're looking for something to post vids to youtube with.

It is what it was designed to do. It listens to the sound and automatically sets it's record levels to the loudest sound it hears, so you never distort the audio. The bass is low and punchy, the mids are clean, and the highs are crisp and clear. We use it to record all our shows. And we LOVE it.

You get what you pay for. In this case, that turned out to be more than I expected for the $$. The price is "entry level," the video quality is "entry level," but everything works (kind of important,) and for me, it wasn't real hard to set up, using the slide show presentation they included. I just ordered 2 more.

As I mentioned previously, I purchased 2 more cameras and will install soon. At that time I'll be taking notes on the rough spots in the manual. Will post again when I have finally installed the additional cams.
