The last thing my daughter wants is to have me take her temperature rectally, especially when she is sick and it is hard to get her to sit still enough to wait for oral thermometers to work. This ear thermometer is one of the best purchases I have made. It is very fast, accurate, and easy to use and read. It really comes in handy when you need to check your child's temperature. It also comes with a hoster to protect it when it is not in use.

Why do they market this thing as only being for babies? I don't know. Adults don't like holding things under their tongues for minutes at a time either. Anyhow, I bought this thermometer because I'm doing chemotherapy and if I run a fever, it's bad times. I'm essentially trusting it with my life, and it has been believable (accurate), repeatable (precise), and extremely easy to use. What more can one ask for? No, you don't need to throw away the stupid little ear covers every time either. It's just your ear, what's going to contaminate it? Wipe them off with alcohol if you're a hypochondriac.

i've used several digital thermometers, including the first 2 generations of the ear thermometer. this one is super easy to use. the kids like the warm tip and wait to have their temp checked. i only wish it was not so big with the cover on.

I was purchasing the Thermometer for a medical mission trip to Honduras. I ordered it about a week before departure and it made it on time, even a couple days early. The product worked perfectly and helped the medical team deliver health care fast and efficiently in the remote areas of Honduras...fast ...effieciently...and on time...as I expected.

This is a great Digital Ear Thermometer. I was very hesitant to buy it because I hadn't heard great things about ear thermometers but this one is excellent. It is accurate, quick, and easy to use. I recommend it.

Just got my Body Temperature thermometer for my son the other day. It's easy to use and works exactly as it's supposed to. This thing is cool. This is something I use more often than I ever expected. It just helps me to take care of my babies.

My wife and I love this product, but have to wait a bit longer before we can use it on our son. Out pediatrician told us to wait until after we were 1yr old to start to use this type of thermometer so for his first birthday he unwrapped one of these (we figured he'd be as excited as we were!) Unfortunately our son has smaller ear canals than this thermometer will accurately read so we consistently get low readings (92-95F) when we try to use it. My wife and I have used it on ourselves and get normal readings so we think it works... We'll try again at 18months.

What a great design. I think that this alarm clock is very creative and inventive. I set it on the floor away from the bed and when the alarm goes off, the fun begins. It wakes up the whole family. We keep it running until everyone is out of bed. Last one up turns it off. My dog loves it too. He wakes up ready to play which fills the room with fun in the morning instead of the normal grumpy mood I use to have.
