It flips, turns sideways, and you can use it with the claws open or closed. It is difficult for my six year old to open and close the claws on his own though.

My Grandson loves this. We live off a dirt road and lots rocks it really go are even in the grass. It was worth the money. His dad would like one too!

y 8 year old, loves, loves, loves this toy! Its fast, does tricks and seems quite rugged. It also runs through grass, over rocks and sticks, etc. So, he can play with it in the back yard.

Don't try this car with claws on the strong ground. The car is easy controlled for me. My brother liked it. I will find something different car for me because frequency. The car can roll up on rise with claws or without claws.

All our son wanted for was a big truck. He has been stuck on cranes for a while too so we thought this would be a good compromise. It is bigger than I anticipated (I didn't really pay attention to dimensions). He can destroy toys in no time at all - not this one.
