I bought the "Deluxe USB Cooling Fan" because my PS3 is located in a media stand and does not recieve enough ventilation to keep it at a reasonable temperature for extended play (3 or 4 hours, in my case). I have a 60g PS3 and the Cooling Fan fits snuggly. There are two reasons I wanted to write this review, the first is on the noise. <br/> <br/>The Fan is not as loud as I was originally led to believe. It makes a little noise, but far less than my PS3 was making before I got the fan. I like to listen to my games and movies at a reasonalbe to loud volume, so for the me, the noise is only noticable during extremely quiet or silent scenes in my movies or video games. Unless you are extremely picky about external noise, I wouldn't let it concern you with this item. If your playstation runs hot enough, then it is far more likely to make more noise than this USB fan ever could. <br/> <br/>The other reason for this review was the quality of the product. It does a great job for what I paid for it ($13.00), and has prolonged the amount of time it takes my PS3 to start working over time cooling itself, but that is the point I wanted to make. This fan will not solve your overheating issues, it will simply give you more time before your PS3 gets too hot. Maybe my case is different because there

Fits onto the PS3 ok, and the fans did work, but I do not know how much of a difference this will make. For the money, it's not bad

I did some research on what would cool down the PS3, and only be powered on while the unit is on. This Deluxe USB Cooling Fan has fit the bill perfectly. The snaps that hold it in place appeared to be too small, but with both snaps and the USB connection, I've had no issues with it. It fits perfectly in place and powers on when the unit is turned on via the gamepad....very nice and easy. The 4 PC muffin fans aren't that loud, and when watching a movie, they are not noticeable. Very good product for the money.

The product comes very faster, and the package very well! Very easy to set up with the USB design, plug and play!
