I simply keep the software on channel 3 and use my verizon set top remote control. I also have a VCR attached. Simply put, MY PC has become my TV. I no longer have a TV to burn electricity and hurt my eyes.

I was iffy on buying a used product, I was needing to get a camera I had with an RCA connection working on my computer, worked great, didn't try the tv tuner software, just needed the drivers and the software I was using picked it up just fine :)

now some people say that it has bad picture, I had the same until I bought a new cable. If you have a higher quality cable the picture will look as good as standard tv can get.

We bought four of these for use with dental cameras. There was some odd behavior at first just getting the drivers to work and integrate with the dental software, but once we got it figured out they work just fine.

i use it as a capture card for my xbox 360 and it works pretty good, quality is about an 8/10 maybe 9 but other than that it works well.

The unit is recognized by Linux althought it is shown as generic but works great. I have had it running for 10+ months with only minor mishaps.

Cons:

Tends to run hot. Good case flow or a fan directly on the board is suggested.

As of yet this is the only capture card i have found that is capable of producing video without a delay in windows vista, so i am reasonable satisfied with the hardware.

This is excelent video capture hardware, however the factory software is not compatible with windos vista. I was able to use the card anyway using the opensource programs VLC media player, and Virtual dub.
