I would highly recommend this Remote Control Motorbike and playtime would largely be increased with other products around. I gave this to my little 9 year old nephew as a birthday gift. This was his first real remote controlled car, and he was super excited!

All our son wanted for was a big truck. He has been stuck on cranes for a while too so we thought this would be a good compromise. It is bigger than I anticipated (I didn't really pay attention to dimensions). He can destroy toys in no time at all - not this one. "I'm sooo excited about my big yellow crane" he tells us all the time.
