Thanks to a reviewer, A Stone, I was able to use this device. It had inadaquate instructions or xtra fuses. Volume is from 0-30 The remote seems to be the best (only) way to change frequency as trying adjust the unit itself interrupts the power causing it to restart. my radio on seek can't find it for some reason. No manual tune on my radio so I had to adjust the frequency on the device to an existing frequency near the (87.5 default) and walla it overides that frequency. I now hope that someday in my travels I will find an FM station on 87.5 so I will be able to set it into my radios favorites which will save a lot time. The sound quality is ok as I use it for audio books. I have used both the SD card and the sansa clip + mp3 player.

This product is honestly terrible unless you can actually get it to stay on. Its power connectors are very loose and don't stay in place unless you get it on that certain point of connection. So other than being half trash it is a life saver considering i have no cd or cassette player in my car. But then again what do you expect for 6 dollars.

this player/transmitter is a great buy Ive been looking for a way to play audio files directly from a flash drive or memory card to get rid of the bulk and inconvenience of playing cds the head phone jack input also sweetens the deal this thing covers all the bases for anyone who listens to mp3s I've had to order two more because everyone i'm around borrows mine and I have trouble getting it back.

I am very pleased with this product. It does everything I need it too, and the sound quality is very clear.
