I purchased this charger in case of long term power outage(earthquake, ice storm, nuclear war, cap and trade-caused blackouts),I am very happy with this product, it surpassed the charging times on a sunny day, even in late fall, with the sun very low in the sky at mid-day. I also feel the build quality of the product is high, based on first impressions only.

Finally, something I can carry around with me that actually will recharge using the sun if I don't have an outlet nearby. This does exactly what it should, recharges almost any electronic device I throw at it. My ipod, my Garmin gps, and my cellphone all get a boost from this. I just keep it in my car (or my wife throws it in her purse) and it's ready to go whenever we need it. If we forget to refuel it overnight at an outlet, then we can always use the sun if it's a nice day for a quick boost. Definitely a neat gadget to add to the collection!

Great device for the iphone. This is a back up battery and a little power factory. The battery can be charged by just putting it in sunlight. On cloudy days it still recharges but not as well. In that case I can plug it into the wall or the commputer to recharge it. Once recharged I can power my iphone when that battery gets low.

I did not look here before ordering and was wondering if I had made a mistake. After my trying i found the items were very low priced and had free shipping. I was surprised that the items arrived quicker than I was expecting (shipped from Hong Kong) and actually work like they should. The items were (shipping) packaged very well and also were of retail-looking packaging too. I had no problem at all from this company. I'd probably order from again.

This solar charger works great for my iPhone 3GS. The profile is sleek and makes it look like an oem extension. Construction is plastic, however it feels solid in your hands. The connector snaps in to my phone with a solid "click" which I like. Charging works under sunlight or through a usb port on your computer. Plus its very compact and easy to carry around. I would have preferred a higher battery capacity (this one is 1900mAh) however for the price, I can't complain too much! Product doesn't come with a manual, however I'm sure this can be found online somewhere. Overall I'm very happy with this product.

There is no user manual that shows what types of problems or issues which we should be aware of.

This product would be good for people who spend lots of time outdoors, and can't readily use a car or wall charger for their devices. Backpackers, fishermen, etc, would probably like this. Or if you want emergency power. Very great.

Works even in low sunlight, and it's even compatible with all Iphone and Ipod models. No more running out of juice expecially when you use it to listen to tune via bluetooth and you work long hours. I got this Solar Powered Battery Charger and I love it. Works great with my iPhone and iPod BUT don't expect to hook it up to your windshield at automatically start charging. All in all it is a great Solar Battery Charger. And very practical.
