While riding through the streets of San Francisco, this light helps me feels safe. I like the fact that the light has a quick release function so I can take it with me when my bike is parked outside. It also can be tilted up and down to compensate for the angle of your seat post. If only it tilted left to right I would be set. After being on my bike for several months, it has become slightly crooked. I'm sure reinstalling it will fix it without a problem. I'm sure it could be brighter but it is bright enough for me. I'm glad I didn't go with a single LED light, 3 seems just right to me. I would definitely recommend this to a friend.

There are several clever things about this light. Most important is the way the LEDs are oriented to deliver the light all around to the sides as well as a concentrated beam to the back. Another nice touch is that you switch it on or off by just pressing the case on the bottom, which means there's no worries over water intrusion from a switch.

Great product. Holding clips are not going to break on this one. Nice, wide and bright beam. Very easy on the batteries. I have bought 3 just in case they stop making them. Cool LED Cap Light!

The main importance of biking around the city is getting seen, not seeing the road so much. This is good and bright, and I usually have it on blinking mode. It's certainly bright enough, and I can see the flashes highlighted in road signs a long way ahead. So don't expect it to light your path THAT much, but it will get you seen.
