I own one of these chargers to use with my batteries for several of my LED flashlights. I use 'protected'batteries to ensure proper charging. And it works well with my batteries.

I bought one of these, because it sounded a bit more solid than the competing chargers. <br/>It charged the first set of batteries just fine. I let it cool down, put in a second set of batteries, and plugged it in. work well.
