It is also so small. I used it to convert a famous beer movie take it to a German Bar and play the movie on the HDTV there flawlessly. I tuck the recorder in the ceiling tiles and everyone had a good time.

I bought this product intending to use it to capture video from various sources that I could then edit and put on youtube and other video sharing sites. For that purpose, it works very well.

I'm free of cable and Tivo has allowed me to do this. With Tivo I can still get many of my TV shows off antenna with it's built in dual ATSC tuners, but in order to cut cable out my life, I still needed to get some of my reality shows a like on History and Discovery Channels. Tivo made solving that problem easy by adding Netflix and Amazon Video to their lineup. Now I get all my shows at less then half the cost of cable every month. If customer support was better I would have given it five stars.
