This thing works great. I gave it 4 stars because the price seems high for a bubble and because it blocks my pop-up flash so I can't leave it on all the time (call me lazy). It is accurate and well-made. Fits snug in hot shoe

just what i needed to get better pictures of my artwork! everything needs to be level and straight on. this solves the problem of getting the camera level and prevents parallax problems in the images. haven’t found any downside to it yet.

I use this level in conjunction with the bubbles on the tripod head. Frankly, this level is easier to read, can be either be attached to the hot show or laid flat on the sides of the camera. It is quick and accurate and is worth every penny. The only disadvantage is it is easy to lose.

Leveling a crooked photo can be done with Photoshop easily with a horizon like you might have in a picture of the ocean. [@] is a bit more of a challenge for mountain scenery. Meadows and mountain ranges don't always lay flat across the horizon for a guide. This Hot Shoe Bubble Level should take the guesswork out of some of the shots.

The Hot Shoe Double Bubble Level slips right into the cameras hot shoe. Couldn't be easier. When taking landscape shots it is easy to think the horizon line is straight until you get home and look at the picture. This level keeps your pictures balanced, no angled horizon lines or pictures off kilter. Great addition to your gear bag.
