Well you pay eight dollars for it so the price is dirt cheap and it does as it says it widens your field of view. it has some issues though when you take pictures the edges are always blurry and if you take any pics at night it will always be blurry and fuzzy light will take over the picture. I found these problems can be used creatively to turn this lens into a soft filter or to give a dream like look to pictures. As a cheap way to get a good quality wide lens though you won't get it here.

I honestly can't complain about the lens. It's not a $2,000+ wide angle lens but for my level it does just fine. I can't afford the "real deal" wide lenses so when i saw this my eyes lit up. Like most everyone's said, the corners do vignette with the lens but it's not really that severe. Noticeable, yes, but In my opinion nothing that's a big deal.

I was impressed with the quality of the images that this lens can produce. There is very little distortion except when used at very short focal lengths. <br/> <br/>The only downsides are the size of the lens, the weight, and the fact that it blocks the optical viewfinder.

The lens adaptor worked as desired. With it and a Wide Angle Lens, I was able to protect the internal lens extending mechanism form becoming inoperative due to dust etc binding that mechanism
