It is a good lens. Close-ups don't get much wider, but it is very good for landscapes. <br/> <br/>The front protection cover could be more tight, so it would not fall so easy. <br/> <br/>The transport bag is good too.

This lens is of good quality and does exactly as it should, increase the angle in which you are taking a picture. The first test I did was with my back against the wall looking into my kitchen. With the lens, my Sony DSC-H10 appeared as if it were five feet further back than without the lens! <br/> <br/>A must get if you want group shots or absolutely stunning landscape pictures. Don't believe some of the other posters belief that this lens "doesn't do that much." If you are a prosumer or above, you know what to expect and what not to expect out of a wide angle lens. This did exactly as it claimed, it changed my focal length from 38mm to ~26.2mm (35mm scale). Great purchase, don't pass this one up. <br/> <br/>With this lens, the H10 really blows the Panasonic TZ5 out of the water. No need to get a wide-angle camera when this one can be adapted in so many ways.

Tried this out with just a couple of shots. For panoramic shots, it's way cool. But, I didn't know that it would also work with the telephoto feature on my camera. Gets awesome wide-angle close-ups.

I was very exicted to hear that my Sony camera had an attachment and that I was not going to have to buy another camera. I needed to take pictures of rooms for real estate and for VRBO listings. The lens works great for that.

I got this wide angle conversion lens last month to be put on my Sony DSC-H3. The effect is tremendous! I can now easily capture a wide frame of picture that goes much beyond what H3 had to offer (even though H3 is already pretty good without any additional lenses). With this lens it will never be a problem for me to take group pictures in a small room. I love this lens and bring it to wherever I go.
