Not only did I get the added benefit of having this little camera installed on my computer almost immediately, it has a microphone in the back!!! I didn't realize this until I skyped a friend and took off the headset but still heard me! I was so surprised. Another quick note, you'll have to mess with the lens a little bit in order to adjust the focus. Other than that, there is no other hard work to do other the install and play.

I use my Webcam every week to Skype with my Sister in Germany and also with 2 of my grandchildren that are away in College. It is easy to use and the picture quality is good. Make sure you have right lighting.

I got this camera so that my kids can video chat with my parents who live in another state. It was simple to install on Windows XP and I haven't had any problems.

The unit was so inexpensive, I bought it and have used it with Skype for video chats. It connects with USB instantly and works just fine. My only caveat is that you need a flat surface at face level to balance this webcam for a full-face transmission. It doesn't have a clip or system to attach it to one's monitor. The lighting feature is excellent and controlled by a switch dial on the USB cable.
