MR16 3W 5500-6000K White Light LED Light Bulb(12V)

• Pros: Bright. Dimmable with existing light switch. Plugs straight into existing MR16 light socket (in countries with 220-240V power, like Australia) The light tends to concentrate into a brighter 'spotlight' area in the middle, rather than being very diffuse, like the bulbs with multiple LEDs
• Cons: With a high K rating, the light is very bright, cool, artificial. (this may be what your're after) Not particularly suited to living areas as the light is not as 'warm' as the lower K rated bulbs.
• Other Thoughts: Would not recommend for living areas where comfort and 'warmth' of the light are very important. (hard to beat old fashioned high-power halogen for that) However, bright light, dimmable and 'spotlight' effect might be useful to light a particular object.

• Other Thoughts: Found this 3W LED bulb on line at half the price (including shipping) that it would have been in town. Plus it was delivered faster than I expected. I ordered these bulbs because I couldn't find them in a store locally. They arrived prmptly. Will order again.

• Other Thoughts: I use these critters in my Hampton Bay Flex Light kit. They work well as they are directional. Is soon as I can find more lams for the track I will be buying extra pure white led bulb before they are needed. The advantage is that the light can also be directed away from arias I do not want to be directly lighted.

• Other Thoughts: I bought the pure white led bulb because the ones I had burned out. The original ones in the light fixture were actually GU10+. Apparently it's a little different. These give a kind of reddish glow that the other lights didn't. If you've had these before for your light fixtures, then I'm sure they are fine.

• Other Thoughts: Good price about half what they are the local hardware store. They are a white light so if your looking for a LED spot light with a red tint this is not the blub. This product is exactly what it says it is, but I wish I'd looked at the description or picture more closely.
