This product is exactly as described. I have used it to hook my iPod to my minivan video screen and it works very well. The kids can watch movies rented through iTunes. It even can charge the iPod while driving as we have a 110 V outlet in the van right near the AV hookups. <br/>I also used it to watch a movie on our 42 inch TV at home and the quality was good through the iPod to the TV as well. <br/>Only negative is the iPod connector is a bit difficult to remove.

All we care about is that it works with the iPod! <br/>It is cheaper than the Apple OEM cable and safer than buying a cheaper one on EBay which may or may not work on the iPod
