Let me start by saying that I give this a Five Star rating based on performance-for-price, this product is not without its shortcomings. I have an Intel motherboard with an Intel CPU and everything works great for me. I am running Windows Vista. TW6802B Chip. H.264 compression format. It is compatible with AMD and so on the surface of virtually all of the motherboard world. Support for integrated graphics, Vista system. To support remote centralized management, but also do not have to open router ports. I was very satisfied with the capabilities of the card and the software but finding out how to utilize the features of the software was as much trial and error as it was obtaining the information from the instruction manual.

first time surveillance system buyer... I spent several hours trying to determine which unit to buy and must say I am glad I purchased the Defender Picture is a tad grainy during the day BUT the night shots are amazing!! I am very picky about quality and for 500..you can't beat this system!!! Installation was simple. I mounted the cameras on my eves outside while it was snowing. Ran the cable inside the siding corners and then through the sills on the bottom of the house. Great system!

Easy to setup as it is literly plug it in and it works. We still haven't mounted the camera so they are just sitting but that actually has worked out as I can just move the camera to the area in the house I would like to watch. It works great with no hassles.
