After a month, I am still extremely satisfied with this cord. It works perfectly, even better than the original! After it charges my battery, the AC adapter actually provides the power to the laptop. It seems to protect the battery from burning out. I hope that it lasts longer than the original, but if necessary, I will not hesitate to purchase another adapter/charger/power cord from this vendor.

Looking for an inexpensive ac adapter replacement for your Acer laptop? Got this one for my wife and it works. This worked with our Gateway Solo 450 laptop after months of hasseling with the faulty original cord. I was skeptical of it because of some of the bad reviews but had it for a year and had no problems. I am just mad we waited so long to order it!
