The battery grip matched well with the D50 and worked as advertised. No problems setting it up or operating it. Handles wells and it does not feel as if it is going fall out of your hand, and it looks good attached to the D50 as well. It is also cost less than the Nikon's, and basically works for less. At this point, I have got to give a five.

Many will tell you that the best accessory you can buy for your camera is a flash while some would say a remote. When it comes to battery grips, questions such as "would I really need the comfort to shoot in portrait for macro photography?" would come to mind. Often times, it's what deters us from buying a grip... the uncertainty of whether we will need it or not. Not sure which specific field in photography I'm getting myself into, I was hesitant. But after going to Hawaii for my honeymoon, it turns out that shooting comfortably in portrait for any type of photography was very important. And this vertical battery grip just meet all my needs, very great choice.

The grip offers primarily power management advantages along with improved camera handling options at the cost of some weight and bulk. With two of the standard rechargeable batteries in the grip, recycle times for the flash are noticeably quicker. It also adds the option of accepting AA batteries in a pinch. I would recommend this grip to a friend.

It's a sturdy grip for me. I don't have any flex issues whatsoever. Having two batteries in the grip allows over 1000 shots before a recharge is necessary. When I go on trips, I always bring a battery charger with me, but I have literally NEVER needed to take it out of the suitcase, no matter how much shooting I do.

Hi,I just made a purchase yesterday and I am totally ecstatic because I got my order 2 weeks latere as i expected. It only took 14 days for me to receive it. I am very pleased with my purchase and the service and I totally recommend this company to everyone and I will definitely purchase again. I understand that not all products arrive as quickly because some are shipped from Hong Kong but before we purchase the item you let us know that.

If you find your camera a bit heavy and your back aching at the end of the day, or if you just appreciate well made, designed and comfortable straps, then here's the most comfortable strap around.

This battery grip is identical to the Canon. Has a great feel to it and you cannot beat the price. I've had this just over a month and I'm still shooting my T2i without a recharge. Cosmetically, It's A+. Why would you pay the inflated prices for Canon accessories? Not me. This baby is great.

Like others on here I wanted the grip for my Pentax K10D and had found the Pentax brand and read reviews, some of which were not that brilliant for the money to be invested. By chance I came across this model, read its reviews and being SO much lower cost decided that it made more sense to go for this one.
