The color temp. adds clarity and displays colors well. Battery consumption difference is certainly there, but won't make much of a difference with one application. I recommend this bulb!

This replaced my little incandescent bulb in my dome light in my pickup. It is very bright at night and lights up the whole cab. It is bright white so say goodbye to the tungsten yellow tint.

I didn't know these bulbs existed until I came across them on a Volkswagon Campmobile site. I knew they would be perfect for my van but they were really expensive on the website, so I thought I would try this online shop and sure enough they were availible at a third of the cost.
