This seemingly simple piece of molded plastic was recommended to me by a professional photographer. Basically it's the shape of an open box that slides firmly onto the flash. It is small and sturdy enough to stash in your camera bag without worrying about damage.

Turned my 10D into a little point and shoot using this diffuser. Now we just leave the camera laying around the house and the lumiquest does a nice job of diffusing the built-in flash. Much easier to manage than DIY jobs and reasonably priced...worth the $$.

After using my lens on vacation and having a difficult time keeping sun flare off the lens, I finally decided to buy this product. Just completed doing an outdoor wedding and the sun was all over the place, and this hood did exactly what is supposed to do. Didn't ruin one shot because of sun flares. Easy to use and easy to store when not in use.
