- Other Thoughts: Fortunately I have not had to use it just twice, so this review is not perfect, but even in these cases -because it worked very well- saved time and money. In case you are more than amateur, the saving can be even higher. Just get the necessary parts -if you need any at all- and do it yourself after this Code Scanner Reader-beside the code number- tells you what the problem is. After the problem solved, you can even reset the check engine light yourself.

- Other Thoughts: This Scanner is a great tool for the price. I have already used it to determine codes for a check engine light on my wifes Envoy, and make the needed repairs. I have also used it for check engine light on my Mountaineer and made a repair that cleared two of the codes. Still have one more to make. <br/>I would recommend this Code Scanner Reader to any home mechanic, as it really does the job for troubleshooting Check Engine Lights.

- Other Thoughts: I got this Car Scanner Tool, tried it out, and am delighted, works perfect. Trash youe pc based OBDIs, this tool is a quantum leap in simplicity.

- Other Thoughts: I'm very impressed with this little Chinese made scanner for the price. I use it for state inspection IM checks and the quick stuff. It is really fast and saves me time. It certainly does not have all the capabilities of a dealer level scan tool or even a professional level aftermarket scan tool like auto-enginuity but it certainly has it's place. I like it better than 3 other cheap scanners that I have used in the past year. My only gripe so far is that the cord is pretty short but it is workable. I'm an ASE Master auto tech, buy this scanner and don't look back.
