No, this review is not about a "defective" unit received.. It’s about the overall lack of quality and their Tech Support unit~! <br/>Okay...this video camera takes GRAINY pictures (snapshots AND video) and the Tech Support Unit comprise of those from Indian origins, who sound as if they are reading from the HORRIBLE, Chinese-made (Chin-garish) product manual!!! <br/>This thing is heading towards the closet (not worth returning for refund) and I have to carefully read the next review on "Camcorders that have Webcam capability"...and just thought I'd leave a Product Comment on this product's QUALITY and not just about a defective piece!

We bought this camera for my son for his 10th birthday. For the price, my expectations were quite low, but I figured if he was able to get some play time out of it and learn a few things about cameras it would be worth it. I've been impressed. As long as you don't judge it outside of it's class, it's a surprisingly good camera. The first thing I noticed is how good the image looks, a combination of decent sensor and good display. When my brother-in-law saw the camera, he seriously considered it as a gift for his wife.

My first all-digital video camera and I wanted to ease into it. Very simple and I had it mostly figured out within minutes. However, I couldn't figure out the zoom right away but it appeared to "come with zoom". Eventually disovered it, but it's ackward to use and get grainy fast. There were other, even cheaper digital video cameras from Colby that I ended up buying for work and I'm have tempted to swap. This one is cheap feeling, really no bells and whistles but for playing around capturing a few moments with the kids here and there, it'll probably be okay until it breaks.

Camera is not bad for the money, first thing that that you will notice is operating instructions leave a lot to be desired. That being said it seems to be a decent camera for the price with amazing battery life. I currently have a 8 gig sd card in mine which allows me to take over 2 hours worth of video with sound. Another big plus is the fact that it easily fits in your pocket and can be used as a web cam with built in mic.

It is very easy to use and has VERY good picture quality (especially for its price!) This camera is a bit basic so it's not really recommended for the people who want to make important movies and such, but great for home or personal use.

The feel the Digital Video Camera is just great, I have taken several pictures and they are amazing, specially night pix without flash, i can see the grooves of the moon for example.

I think people that rate the Digital Video Camera negatively need to realize its target audience. I mean, if you want lots of features and professional quality, you shouldn't even be looking at the Digital Video Camera. Then lug the thing around. But, if you want a simple to use, good quality camcorder, with very easy to use software, then buy this. I did, for my wife, and she loves it. Where as our nice Sony camcorder just sits in the closet, she will actually carry this Digital Video Camera around with her.

Just got this HD projector. Wow, this is my first projector and I am NOT disappointed. Picture is fantastic. Easy to set up. Less than a thousand dollars! You can't beat the combo of great picture, huge screen and price. I know some people have complained about the black levels. I must not be a tv/projector snob as I haven't noticed anything but awesomeness. During the day, the picture is a little washed out. Still easily viewable but a little washed out. A set of black out curtains/drapes should take care of that. Once dusk hits, the picture is ridiculous. Super bright. I can't imagine going back to a LCD or plasma. That huge screen is just too cool.

This camcorder has excellent video and audio quality. The Smart Record feature is a God-send for amateur videographers! ortunately, when you upload a video to YouTube, the audio "hiccups" are not there. Just make sure to delete videos that you don't want to use and use a disc defragger (e.g., Auslogics) to unfragment your computer files after video editing. Great camcorder for the price. I'm sticking with this one!
