The blade cuts better or don't get clogged up as the # 10 blade that came with the clippers I bought, also you can do a better and faster job cutting your pooches hair,it don't cut as close as the #10 does, but a nice length, glad I bought blade,Amazon ships it fast.

This blade works great for a longer field cut. I have used it on my two Aussies. Cuts like butter when used with the clippers. Does a great finish cut, highly recommend.

Other Thoughts:
This length blade is a good all-around blade...it leaves just enough hair on your dog without getting close like the #10 does, and you don't have to mess around with the attachments (which I find to be a pain really).
