- Other Thoughts: A good chalkboard for the money. I primed it as a commenter suggested in a previous review (by rubbing the side of chalk all over the board's surface). Afterward the chalk wrote on the board fine, and I pressed normally. Good value.

- Other Thoughts: Never thought the cheapest one would be good, but I bought it based on another review and it is great! I use the liquid chalk pens and cleaner by neoplex and love it!

- Other Thoughts: I purchased this Message Chalkboard to hang in my kitchen, half for decoration, half for function. I wasn't looking to spend too much money, so this was the best value. For the price, it was worth it. It doesn't write as smoothly though as the slate chalkboards of elementary school. It feels rough when you write, and it doesn't erase cleanly with a chalkboard eraser. I just wipe it off with a damp washcloth when I want to clean it off thoroughly. No problem though, it looks great in the kitchen, and works well enough for me!

- Other Thoughts: Wanted an inexpensive Menu Message Boardto put outside in my kids clubhouse and this fit the bill. The size matches the description and it wasn't too flimsy. If it holds up to a Michigan winter I might even give it another star.
