- Other Thoughts: This has exposed LEDs which gives it a "futuristic" look. I find that for my light cans over my desk, over the kitchen island, or anywhere else that needs a little more light, these bulbs are just the ticket. The light is "whiter" then then for a "conventional" bulb, but I like it. It is my new "favorite" LED spot light. But due to cost, i just put these where I want more light.

- Other Thoughts: These save you money that's not a joke they really do work. I have changed all mine to these in my house and can see a price drop on my electric bill and they last longer.

- Other Thoughts: We purchased and moved into a house that already had these bulbs in many of the overhead fixtures and were also used exclusively in the basement and outside fixtures. I had never used the newer cfls because of poor experience with older cfls. I'm very impressed with the new versions. Instant on and long life. The bulbs last much longer than incandescent bulbs. I would have to replace a regular outside incandescent once per month. With the cfls, I've only replaced one outside light in the last 8 months and I don't know how ling it was there to begin with as it was in the fixture when we moved into the house. I'm sold on these for energy savings and long life!

- Other Thoughts: We bought a number of these night lights to replace our regular 7watt bulbs. Weren't sure at first how well they would throw light at night for our older eyes, but they work out much better then expected. We are very pleased with this product!

- Other Thoughts: This LED based light is no where near as powerful as any of the other light in my house but it serves well as a reading light in the night or a light to leave on all night because 1 watt of energy per hour is pretty cheap.
