The hub is smaller than I expected. If the ports are facing you, it is really only about as deep as a standard thumb drive. Contain 4 standard size female ports and 4 mini female ports. Like all USB, easy to set up.

I needed one more USB port so I daisy chained this unit off a powered one. Works great plus I have extra ports and it was cheap.

This mini hub has four ports, each of which has a controllable slide switch, which gives you control over which ports to remain open or not. And peripherals can be plugged in this hub as well. This mini hub does not draw power; it is only a connector usb to allow for additional space on your computer.

Although my laptop has four usb slots, I use a usb mouse and a laptop light and needed more. <br/>I choose this inexpensive product and I've been very happy with it. It doesn't get in the way or take up much space and is very easy to access. A worthwhile purchase.

This wonderful little device has already provided me much pleasure, and a lot less aggravation. Each of the 4 ports has an on/off switch - very useful. I recommend this product without reservation.
