The Skype internet telephone service is excellent, however I was hoping that this telephone would be just a plug in and use device. Unfortunately even if the PC you plug it into has Skype, you cannot use it unless you load driver software which means you cannot use this telephone on public PCs or Internet Cafes as they do not allow this. If you want a telephone with good features that is always available beside your always on PC then this is a good unit, however if you travel around a lot and have to grab access where you can, buy a ZipLinq microphone headset and carry a wireless capable laptop. Personally I am now using a standard microphone & audio earphone headset plugged into my sound card on my PC at home for skype.

This was a inexpensive USB Internet phone that I got to do 'proof-of-concept' testing on Skype. It worked fine and so did the software that came with it. If I get more serious about VoIP, then I'll move up to a better one or cordless.

This product gets 5 stars in design and implementation. The buttons are where they should be, it feels like a phone, it "talks" like a phone. Definitley a must for every Skype fan. It also works with SkypeIn and SkypeOut so you can send and receive calls to this handset. Crystal clear voice quality. Absolutley brilliant. If I had, for the life of me, find a glitch in this device, I would say it takes a split second more than it should to scroll down on the list of skype names.

This phone works. The driver is a minor issue unless you have a Mac. For those who complain about delays in voice, the phone is not the one to blame. You need to learn how VOIP works before making your statement. IRAQ is not next door. For a network packet to prapagate to Iraq, it has to travels thru hudreds of hubs. 15 seconds sounds long but not all that unreasonable considering sattellites are involved in the transmission.

I am very pleased with their service. I ordered a combo items in order to get a reduced price on the second items but when I checked out, it charged my card for the full amount instead of the discounted amount. I emailed the company and in less than 24 hours had a response back stating that they would be crediting the difference of the discounted price back to my charge card. I was very pleased that they handled this matter so promptly and honestly. Excellent customer service!

I picked up this Skype Phone to have more flexibility using skype for international work calls from home. It has been so great that I have transitioned all of my business calls to this line and just foward or bring this phone with when I am not at my home office. I would purchase from them again.

Got a new laptop, with Vista Home Premium, about a week ago. Had this phone lying around, and thought I'd give it a try. I've never used Skype before. And my inlaws are English. I bought some Skype time, set things up, and hit the button. And all of a sudden I'm talking to the brother-in-law! A great connection, too! Understand that this is on a laptop, 802.11g, on the ground floor, with tbe base PC on the third floor. It's an old house, as well. I'm a bit of a geek. And I expected trouble. But all I got was a pleasant surprise!

Expected time of delivery was 2 weeks, got it in 3 days! tiny little cute thing!good since i am gonna carry it with my laptop.Really sleek. Works well with Skype. Supports all features. Works with msn,yahoo chat as well just the key pad is no use. Worth the price. Exceeds my expectations. I am using it with Windows XP on my notebook. Simple and easy to use.

Phones work very well with Skype. Easy enough to install and worked with existing Skype-mate software. More features than we bother to use in an office.

Cons:

A little harder to install for a real novice.

Other Thoughts:

For a basic USB handset this model has done the job well. We recommended to a supplier interstate and have several clear conversations with them regularly.
