Perfect for my needs where laptop contains only two USB ports and one is always dedicated to the printer. Been using for several weeks and all going well. Only fault I find is no on/off switch.

I record music on a laptop and I already occupied all of the USB ports so I needed a way to connect my external hard drive and midi keyboard. This item saved me some money and a headache. I now can record music and save it without disconnecting any of my equipment. I am so thankful.

Useful hub but beware it does not have a long life -- the last one I had only lasted a few years. But fortunately this 4 Port Hub is cheap.
