- Other Thoughts: KVM Cables have 2 female ends because one end connects to the output of your video card and one end connects to the input of the KVM Switch, (both male). It is the proper setup for KVM switches, and most likely is what you're looking for if you have a KVM Switch.

- Other Thoughts: This cable is MALE to MALE as said in the description. KVM cables and monitor cables should be using the same ends, MALE. As kvm cables are made to go specifically into your computer and into the switch, which usually have FEMALE ends. <br/> <br/>Male ends are the connectors with the pins, Female ends are the connectors with the holes. This cable definitely comes with male ends. I almost tried to cancel my order because of these 2 reviews below me thinking I bought the wrong device, but when I got it, I was relieved they were wrong and the cables are working just fine.

- Other Thoughts: I bought this cable to connect another computer to a 4-port KVM. It seems to be solidly built and works fine with a 19 inch LCD monitor at 1280 by 1024 resolution. However, the cable is bulkier than the ones I already had, so it sticks out a bit further behind the computer. Also, the other cables have longer end segments for the keyboard and mouse, which are also lighter than the video segment. This means that the weight of those cables is taken by the DB15 connector which has retaining screws. Unfortunately, the weight of the new Cables To GO cable is being taken by the PS2 connectors, which don't have retaining screws. Time will tell whether this causes problems or not, but this cable does seem to be a less satisfactory design.

- Other Thoughts: These are the cables to the KVM Switch I purchase a while back. I bought two sets, for two pcs, I should do two more for two more pcs.. anyways, the cables are basic and get the job done..
