The quality is awful. You get what you pay. It has dramatically improved my macro photos! It gives beautiful light indoors and excellent fill light outdoors.

This is a great item, but was a bit unhappy that it wasn't exactly as the image. It lacks the logo on the front, which I PREFER, but I also enjoy dinodirect's credibility, being able to see exactly what I am purchasing before hand. <br/>Other than that, it is a great product, and a great competition to the Ray Flash Ring.

This is a ring diffuser/ reflector not an actual flash, and it works beautifully. My copy fits the 580 EX II perfectly snugly, and is a good concentric fit to my lenses on my Canon 580EX.

I received this product in the mail yesterday and was very happy to see that the build quality was very good, some of the other reviews made me nervous but not having $200 for the other ring adapters being sold I went with this one. it gets the job done and a great piece of gear to have.

I bought this flash adapter mainly to use for macro,and it works VERY well for that.But it also is great for portraits.
