- Other Thoughts: This is a ring diffuser/ reflector not an actual flash, and it works beautifully. My copy fits the 580 EX II perfectly snugly, and is a good concentric fit to my lenses on my Canon EOS 7D. I find no problem with the build quality at all. It has dramatically improved my macro photos! It gives beautiful light indoors and excellent fill light outdoors. It eliminates harsh shadows when used in bright sunlight, on flowers insects and the like. In fact using it outdoors will drastically improve your macros and close-ups taken in full sun.

- Other Thoughts: Much more efficient (2 stops) than another cheap ring flash adapter I tried. Stays on my 580ex very well. Wish it had diffusion options.

- Other Thoughts: I received this product in the mail yesterday and was very happy to see that the build quality was very good, some of the other reviews made me nervous but not having $$$ for the other ring adapters being sold I went with this one. it gets the job done and a great piece of gear to have.
