These glasses are very helpful in spotting a measuring tool laser beam spot against a muddled, excessively bright, or geometrically confused background. I have used them when measuring to a bare stud wall, a fire blackened wall and a sun washed concrete or stucco wall, quickly setting the measure point.

The glasses really help see red lasers outdoors. On very sunny days it still is visible, but I generally have to aim and 'walk' it along the floor until I reach the point I'm trying to hit with the laser. At least it is visible in the daylight with these glasses. I suggest you have a white Bristol board to help make the laser more visible and easier to aim.

The glasses definitely helped but the beam is very faint in bright sunlight. Without the glasses the beam is impossible to see more than a few feet away from the laser unit. I did have to hunt for the beam a bit. I used a piece of construction paper because i did not have a target. This seemed to help. Dont plan on the beam jumping out bright and clear and you will not be disappointed.

These glasses are fairly comfortable and improve the visibility of laser lines in high ambient light situations. They can be used over regular eyeglasses but not as comfortably.

I got these a week or so ago and have used them everyday since. Besides being sooo stylish, they work. I wouldn't be without them.
