The Lenovo ThinkPad power adapter lasts about 2 years. (I live on my laptop) Twice I have had to replace them. This time we wraped the end that breaks with LOTS of electical tape so that it won't bend and eventually break the wires.

Bought it as replacement for my Lenovo X60 laptop. Works great even in very hot climate and recently found out it even works after being left outside in the rain!!

The item is fine, works as expected for a power cord for a laptop.

Other Thoughts:
This was a second charger for my X60 Tablet. I wanted one to leave in the office. Because it's the 90 watt version, charging is rather quick and substantially faster than with the stock 45 watt charger. But both the original charger and this one lack a snug fit where the cord meets the power block. It really takes little to kick it loose.

I have no idea why people say these things fall apart. Mine lasted four years before finally giving up on a research trip to Moorea, French Polynesia. And even then, we managed to keep ac power supply working for the 5 weeks with electrical tape.
