I guess it works just fine. I have had absolutely NO problems with the hard drive dock that it's connected to, so what else can I say? It was very easy to install and the price was terrific.

With the price of external drives dropping in price this is a great way to use those extra SATA ports on your motherboard. Also works good on older XP Machines with add-in SATA cards.

Does exactly what you'd expect this item to do... If it doesn't, then you ordered the wrong item. It connects to an expansion bay on the back of your computer case and connects to a SATA port on your motherboard. Giving you an eSATA port if you have an older motherboard that lacks one. Works perfectly with my eSATA hard drive docking station.

I mean directly in front of HD Media Player . If you try to use it from any angle or significant distance it would not work. If the remote was better it would have received 5 stars. However, overall I am very impressed.
