Mine must be an older model as the blades do not come apart, but these scissors have become my favorite all-around cutting utensil indoors and out. The notched area cuts bones and small branches, the blades dispatch those horrible plastic CD packages, it goes outdoors to serve as my favorite flower cutter and lightweight pruner. <br/>Through all this the blades have remained razor sharp.

The sissors are the best. They will cut through chicken bones. Cut Roses and more. Anything I tried to cut these sissors did the job with ease. I enjoyed them so much I have miss placed them or one of my children borrowed them and did not return them so I am ordering another pair. I used them indoors & outdoors. I will find them eventually. One of the best features is they come apart for cleaning and they can go in the dishwasher.

I love these scissors. They come apart for easy cleaning. As a result they can be used on the messiest items. I highly recommend them. They are an excellent value for the price--far superior to scissors that are much more expensive.

I have owned these kitchen scissors for several years and they are definitely an indespensible item. I use them for everything in the kitchen, and love the sanitary nature of the blades, which come apart. I now have two dishwashers, and it is rare that they are not in one. I am ordering a second pair so they are always available!

We use these shears so often, we bought a second pair. We use them in the kitchen, and they can cut through almost anything. Even chicken bones pose little problem, using the notch at the base of the blades. The take-apart feature is great, ensuring that no germs are hiding out under the blade's hinge point.
