This product is exactly what it says. Good construction and good when running computer through your Flat Panel TV, but not for the application I intended to use it for. This will not work when going from a media player (DVD, VHS or other device) to a Proxima Ultralight X350 projector regardless of the output you set the player to. However, I does work when you have all of the other inputs used up on you TV... you can use the VGA input to add another device!

I bought this to use as a connector for my second video screen since I only had one monitor port (other than the DVI port). The connector was reasonably priced and it arrived pretty quickly. Even though there were no instructions (probably should have returned it or contacted product support) I managed to install it on the monitor cable. It worked 100 per cent first time and absolutely no problem/s since. Not likely to need another one but I would certainly purchase one of these again.

Well, bought this so I could connect my new video card to my TV since it doesn't have a DVI input on it. Found out I didn't need it since my card came with one, but may use it later on for dual monitor since there are two DVI outputs on my card.
