I used this adapter to plug up my ps3 to a monitor.Picture quality is great.I noticed that the hdmi cable wont go in 100% in,it will stick out a little.Only half of the connector will go into the adapter.The connection is still perfect.Don't try to force it in all the way,you could damage the hdmi or adapter.

This adapter works perfectly for what it is designed for. I have no issues with it what-so-ever and it worked great right out of the box. Supplies full HD video right to my AV receiver with no glitches at all.

I bought this adapter back in late Nov. 2010. It worked great with the WDTV player to my monitor. Four months later, it stopped working. Wowparts (the seller at the time) has resolved the issue. Great customer service, and responded to my email within a few hours (on a saturday no less) even after all this time.

The picture at the monitor through this adapter is flawless to me, so I am at a loss to find anything to down-rate it on. <br/> <br/>In my case, HDMI comes from a DVD player, and at the monitor I convert the HDMI cable to the DVI connector the monitor has. <br/> <br/>This monitor has an inset with the DVI connector pointing down inside that, and the length of the cable connector plus the adapter is almost, but not quite, too long to fit into the inset. It was a devil to get the plugs to slide in. What I did is start both connections slightly, to leave some wiggle room, and slide both on simultaneously. If either connection was done before the other, I couldn't get the last one on without breaking something. The cable had a very sharp bend in it when it was done.
