The image is great both in day and night. Don"t forget to let it charge fully, and it will work like a charm. You can have the camera always ON or ON when there is sound from the room.

We have a baby on the way and we recently moved our toddler to a separate room. We got the monitor for her. It is excellent! I had read the negative reviews about the product before purchasing but I don't understand what people were referring to. The Talk back feature is excellent, the voice comes through nice and clear... it's NOT too loud... also you can adjust your own voice to be loud or not so it's really not a big deal. <br/> <br/>I love this product and I strongly recommend it, it's worth every penny!

Wow, so much better than the old technology! I don't miss the constant hissing, static, and chirps on our previous Summer model. The sound quality is great, image is clear, and the room temperature reading is a nice touch. Could do withut the talk function, however. The button to press to speak is on top of the monitor, so it's easy to hit it when moving the monitor around. Worst of all, your voice is a bit distorted and the first, and only, time I've tried it my poor kid was terrified! The lullaby feature is unnecessary. Don't you already have 10 or so other sleep aids in your kid's nursery that play lullabys, white noise, etc?

I bought this when we moved into a bigger house and the baby would have her own room. I like that both pieces can be cordless, especially after reading a news article on children being strangled by the cords on the monitor. The frequency doesn't interfere with any of my other technologies in the house, and it I have a clear picture everywhere I go. There is a one second lag it seems, but I expected that when I bought it.

We purchased one of these units a few months ago because our boys were on the third floor of our house and we wanted to be able to see/talk to them if they had issues after we put them to bed at night. This unit has been perfect for us in every way. The clarity is pretty decent, better than I expected. I do wish we could adjust the volume on the camera end, but it's not a big deal to us, and the kids never complained about it being too loud.
