• Other Thoughts: This is the best mobile diffusion system I've ever used. The size is a bit cumbersome and a bit intimidating to subjects, but it fills your scene with even and smooth light. Also, because the diffuser is omni-directional, what reflected light that comes off the back and sides adds a bit of fill flash to what you're shooting. I often shoot with the dome in place to avoid shadows on faces from ceiling reflection, but if you're shooting under high ceilings, you can maximize your light output by removing the dome. The only problem that I've encountered is that the soft plastic diffuser is hard to fit onto my SL-580EX but once it's on, it tends to stretch out a little bit and fall of during brisk pivots. If you have the same problem and you'll be shooting with the diffuser for a while, you just secure it with a small piece of tape.

I highly recommend this website for their prices, and honoring their claims about the products they sell!
